VapeTM Vending Machine Refunds: Causes, Fixes, and Pro Tips

Error Code: "Notification of Products Not Detected by Sensors"

Refunds in VapeTM machines typically occur when a transaction is approved, payment is processed, but the product fails to trigger the light sensor at the exit gate. When this happens, the machine automatically issues a refund to prevent customer dissatisfaction. If an aisle repeatedly triggers refunds, you can manually disable it by navigating to Machine List > Aisle Goods and toggling the aisle to Off (indicated by a red color). Additionally, there is a setting to automatically disable aisles after a refund to prevent ongoing issues.

Troubleshooting VapeTM Vending Machines: Avoiding Refunds and Common Delivery Issues

Inventory Count Errors:
The product may be unavailable due to inaccurate inventory counts, often caused by manual input errors or if the machine goes offline and fails to update inventory status. Essentially, the machine thinks it has stock, but it doesn't.

Solution:
Verify inventory counts to ensure they align with the actual stock.

Sensor Malfunction:
The light or optical sensor may have failed to detect the product.

Solution:
Test other aisles. If needed, disable the sensor via machine configuration or replace it.

Motor Failure:
The coil or motor responsible for dispensing may not be functioning correctly.

Solution:
Ensure the coil is properly locked and halfway open. Test the motor to confirm it completes a full 360-degree rotation.
