When your card reader displays “Cash Only,” it’s likely due to a communication issue with the cellular network. This is often indicated by an RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) of 99. To fix this:
    Check the signal strength:
    • Access the card reader menu
    • Go to Terminal Info
    • Look for the RSSI value (18 or higher is good)
If the RSSI is low or 99:
    • Ensure the antenna is securely connected
    • Consider using a high-gain antenna if needed
    Try reseating the SIM card:
    • Power off the machine
    • Remove and reinsert the SIM card
    • Power on and check if it reconnects

If you have a VapeTM Vape Tower, make sure you use the 6-foot Nayax High Gain antenna! The 3-foot antenna cord is not long enough and only works on the slim and mega wall mounts.” Nevertheless, the high gain antenna pole gives me a 3+ RSSI boost and VapeTM gave them to me for free!
