Hardware
VTM Vending offers a full lineup of smart digital vending machines in the nicotine or pouch category, purpose-built for regulated retail, with the ability to manufacture to custom specs on request. Current production includes wall-mounted and free-standing units holding 8 to 24 SKUs at 9 to 12 tins per aisle, plus a dedicated tin-only machine now in production that runs 7 SKUs at 24 tins per aisle with simplified loading for higher-velocity sites. Wall-mounted units can also be placed on an optional pedestal stand.

Identity & Age Verification
VTM Vending offers a layered suite of age-verification and identity-authentication options engineered for regulated retail. We can ship machines verification-ready and integrate with virtually any third-party identity provider on request to meet corporate standards or jurisdictional requirements.
Currently, we widely deploy a simple PDF417 ID Scan, powered by the Newland FM430EX fixed-mount imager, a megapixel 2D scanner purpose-built for unattended kiosk environments, with built-in support for all major 1D and 2D symbologies including QR, PDF417, and Data Matrix. It decodes the PDF417 barcode on the back of every U.S. driver's license and government-issued ID, returning the holder's date of birth in milliseconds. For deployments that demand defense against borrowed or forged credentials, Apt-Verify layers document authentication, passive liveness detection, and biometric facial recognition, matching the live customer in front of the machine to the photo on the scanned ID.
For loyalty-forward locations, Token of Trust verifies and tokenizes a customer's identity at first purchase and enables frictionless re-entry for repeat buyers via SMS two-factor authentication. CLEAR integration is also available, allowing customers already enrolled in the CLEAR network to authenticate biometrically without presenting a physical ID. Where a partner runs an existing KYC stack or proprietary verification workflow, our hardware and software are provider-agnostic by design, and we will build the integration directly to fit.
